Celebrate 25 Years of the Margaret Court Cup!
Join us for the milestone 25th Anniversary of the Margaret Court Cup this January! As one of our two premier showcase tournaments, this event is a crucial fixture on the Australian tennis calendar, drawing a dynamic blend of emerging junior talent and seasoned open-level competitors.

A True Legend Returns Home
We are thrilled to announce that the Cup will be officially opened by the tennis icon herself, Margaret Court AC MBE!
This visit is a homecoming for a true legend. Margaret Court grew up directly across the road from the grass courts where the tournament is held. She holds a world record that speaks for itself, having won a staggering 64 major titles—including a record 24 Grand Slam singles titles. Though she currently resides in Perth, her history is deeply rooted in this very venue.
A Growing International and National Draw
The Margaret Court Cup has a rich history of fostering international competition, a tradition we are proud to continue. For a quarter of a century, we’ve welcomed junior players from the Oceania region including Fiji, Tonga, PNG, and Vanuatu. More recently, the event has attracted participants from Japan and, in a sign of its expanding global profile, we look forward to hosting a group from China in 2026.
Nationally, the Cup boasts an exceptional attendance rate, with player representation from nearly all states of Australia and coaches consistently bringing big, organized groups.
Elevated Competition and Prize Money
The tournament features both junior and open divisions, with the open category offering a significant competitive edge. Last year, the open prize money was dramatically upgraded from $3,000 to an impressive $8,000, ensuring a high standard of competition and attracting top-tier players.
Building on last year’s record of 420 players, we are forecasting another major increase, with an expected 500 players set to compete this year!
Don’t miss the chance to be part of this special anniversary year—a tournament where history, talent, and high-stakes competition converge.
